Mariposa means ‘butterfly’ in Spanish. They have always been a symbol of metamorphosis and change, as they transform from a caterpillar into a beautiful butterfly. Our own struggles can give birth to something new and wonderful too.  

 

Waldo Hotz visioned a sustainable farm to grow food for his family and community. He looked far ahead and always said that it was for the next generation.
